My folks have been telling us we need to swing by Dog Creek Lodge to eat for the past year now, as it's one of their faves, well we finally got around to it and were thoroughly impressed. Great food, awesome atmosphere, excellent friendly service. Plenty of room out back for the kids to stretch their legs and a perfect location for dinner after adventuring in the Whitefish or Salish Ranges. Will definitely be back frequently!

We visit here, once a year, solely to xc ski with our dog, and eat really good food in the cozy bar and grill (AMAZING wood fired pizza). They groom the the trails nicely and it's fun to ski the perimeter of Dog Lake. The rooms are comfortable and affordable. I wish there were more xc ski venues like this in Montana. We'll be back next year!

I’m reviewing the restaurant. Came here with some friends on a Saturday night for their prime rib. Boy it didn’t disappoint it was flavorful and a perfect cut. Our appetizers were yummy too, the jalapeño poppers were fantastic and so was the artichoke dip. Drinks were perfect and service was great. We’ll definitely be back!!

This place is spectacular! If I could award 10 out of 5 stars I would. We had an absolutely perfect family vacation staying in the Main Lodge and enjoying all of the features of the facility. Everything about the place exceeded our expectations. You can’t beat the setting - it felt like we were living in a picture postcard. The Lodge is both beautiful and comfortable, allowing us to settle in immediately to a relaxing weeklong break. Without question the Lodge is the best-equipped vacation home we’ve ever visited. There are toys to help entertain a baby, lots of options for water sports on the lake, and a recreation center chock full of puzzles, games, and books, as well as everything you would need for friendly ping pong or pool competitions. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners at the restaurant and had fun exploring Whitefish, Glacier National Park, and several hikes in the area. The owners and entire staff were friendly and helpful and the property manager, Brett, provided very valuable assistance before and throughout our stay. We very much hope to return!

This place is on the beaten path but everyone seems to overlook this gem. The pizza is off the charts good. And the service is very friendly. And the atmosphere is very inviting. GREAT JOB TO THE OWNERS!!!!!!

We stayed at the lodge for a weekend for a family reunion. The grounds were lovely with space to spread out and hike to the lake to fish or kayak. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The large kitchen was perfect for our group and made for easy clean up. It was about a 20 minute drive into Whitefish, MT. I would definitely recommend this lodge.

Just wow. I had my wedding at Dog Creek Lodge, and it was absolutely amazing. The space is stunning and was enjoyed by everyone—from the commercial kitchen and laundry in the main lodge, to the endless games in the game room, and most importantly, the incredibly comfortable beds (something you always worry about when staying somewhere new). It was an unforgettable experience. Everyone in our group was so impressed with the lodge that many talked about planning a wedding reunion here, or even hosting their own family gatherings in the future. We’ll certainly be back—and I’m sure many of our guests will be, too. Thank you so much, Dog Creek!

I’ve had the opportunity to eat at the Restaurant and stay in a lodge at Dog Creek and truly enjoyed both experiences! The lodge is cozy and gives you the true feeling of home. They are clean and well kept. The outdoor sauna is a nice feature during the winter months. The restaurant has great staff that are attentive and friendly. Food is fantastic, our entire group loved every dish they brought out! Great family atmosphere as well!
